Hello everyone,
I thought I was a little too late to make something for the blog hop, but it looks like it hasn't even started yet! Woohoo for time being so ahead in New Zealand. I very very quickly made something whilst the idea was still floating around my head.
Anyway, this month's blog hop theme was non-traditional Christmas colours...
So I chose the above color scheme for my card. I was going to use another initially, but then decided I needed something a bit brighter. After all, it is Christmas we are talking about.
Basically, all I did was get strips of cardstock of the above colour scheme and glued them on the white card base. Then I overlayed it with an impressed and die cut mat with a bit of foam tape. Just to go along with the colours, I stamped the remainder of the sentiment with multiple colours.
Here's another view... because I feel like it. Haha.
A reasonably CAS card because of all the white spaces but has enough on it I think. I did put a wee holly die cut in the corner for finishing touches.
Thanks for coming by :) Hope you liked my take on the challenge.

This is one of my favorite cards from the hop! Your design and execution is fantastic!
I couldn't picture this colour combo in a hoilday/Christmas card. But you've done a fab job with your design. This would be so fun with any combination of colours and words. It has a fun and bright look to it and I bet it would be great for 'summertime' Christmas celebrations!!
Love your take on the challenge. Especially the sentiment in matching colors.
This is SO FUN! I love it!! Awesome take on the challenge -- thanks for the inspiration!
Gorgeous, Euna! I love how you stamped the multicoloured sentiment under the die-cut. Perfect!
Oh wow, Euna, this is stunning! the multicolored sentiment (well both of them actually) is so darn attractive. Great idea and execution!!
This card is da bomb! What die cut did you use? Or did you use individual letters to die cut the word "holiday"?
Simply Stunning!!! Love it!!
brilliant!! perfect way to get all the colors in and not be too busy. Love the embossed background & holly leaf details!
Brilliant! I love everything about this card. It's beautiful.

A great card. Such a fab way of incorporating all the colours.
Great job with the colors, love the woodgrain element.
Oh, Euna, I love this... the negative die cut is the perfect way to showcase all your colours! I guess the brighter schemes might seem a little more natural when Christmas is summer time where you are, right? Beautiful!
