Sorry for lack of update

Looks like I've gotten some people worried with my lack of updates!

Things have been ok. I've just moved onto a busy run so have less time for crafting. Not to mention I have a stack of cover letters and CVs to do for job applications for end of year (they are all due at the end of June!!!). Not exactly exciting things to be doing!

My Cuttlebug hasn't seen much love from me lately either and hopefully I can pump out a few cards later, but it appears that my motivation has gone down again after having made ~25 cards in a rush for Steph.

So, my apologies for lack of updates and still having half the blog images not uploaded (which is terrible of me). I will be back... eventually! Ta!

Emergency Blog Update

It appears that when I got my new Samsung Galaxy Note and accidentally synced it with my Google account (only or me to delete photos back off the phone), it wiped off all the photos from this blog that was stored on Picasa.

I am trying my best to re-upload the photos, but may take a while!

Thanks for understanding.

My Brother's 21st

Hi everyone.I totally forgot to update here. I've been quite caught up doing things I completely lost track of time!

Last Sunday was my brother's 21st birthday. It went rather well, though not quite your average celebration, once you minus the fact that I was freezing out at the beach waiting for his crew to turn up for about 1.5hrs!

Anyway, I thought I'd share the card I made him.

I'm terrible when it comes to masculine cards, but I had this lightbulb moment last Thursday to use the Mustaches stamp set from My Cute Stamps.

I kept it very simple at the front, because it was close to 11pm and I just wanted to get it done knowing the 'inside' wasn't going to be so easy.

So you open up to this delightful meme that have been taken up like a storm online recently. So "21 like a sir" it is. We don't say "like a sir" here so much. We more often say "like a boss" but it had to be a "sir" with that moustache.

And it was Steph's idea that I add in that monocle ;) I made it, yet again, out of PTI stamp packaging, with very fine ring on the rim (heat embossed gold!). It was more of a mission to somehow foam tape this. There is the tiniest sliver of foam tape on the top right corner, and some double sided tape (more obvious in photo) over the moustache.

Anyway, that's it from me today.

I don't know what's happening but I can't see any images on my blog atm D: And my profile pic's gone too D:

I'll see if this post comes out ok... I really don't want to re uplaod all those photos from the 100th post lol

Still have cards left to share!

Hello everyone. 101th post as promised!
I'm up to about 16-17 cards for Steph now. And I've hit that point where I can't even be bothered taking photos of them (haha). But here are a few I made last week that I already had photos of!

The first card's a rather 'busy' card. I think I put a tad too much on it, but when you are told to not have sentiments, you really need something as an accent.

Next card, is pretty simple in contrary to the previous. I had to make use of the Everyday Button Bits set and I decided someone had to like biking. Haha. This card is so green it could almost pass off for St Patrick's Day card.

And simple balloons card... Doesn't get much simpler does it?

Sorry I'm not in much of a talkative mood today. I think that last post takes a bit of time to recover from because it took me probably a good hour to write up!

My brother's 21st is this weekend, so I'd better get cracking and make him some card. I don't even know what to get him for his birthday. He already has all the cool stuff I'd have gotten him. And I've rather been preoccupied playing with Dad's new Samsung Galaxy Note he got from work. I might just buy one too... because it's awesome (just a bit too big) - unless that new Samsung Galaxy being launched later today hits NZ any time soon.

Anyway, thanks for coming around :)
