My Papertrey Ink Stamp-A-Faire order finally arrived on Friday after a month of waiting!!!
Our recent snowstorms had backlogged all our parcels so my family ended up with 4 big boxes arriving altogether from the US, NZ & Korea! It also meant that I not only had stamps to play with, but also got my cardstock order arrive along with it! So I was busy ripping through the packages on Friday night.
I'm about to switch over to storing my stamps on acetate sheets in Tim Holtz stamp storage folders so I only opened up my stamps but didn't mount them into the CD cases. I've already ordered the pockets and acetate which will probably arrive in the next couple of days. I wasn't going to switch over, but everyone on PTI forums had been raving on how great the system was and I decided that it's better to switch early than late when I only have a handful of stamp sets that are already mounted in CD cases (only like 10).
Anyway, I've been swamped with tests and assessments lately and have had no time to play. I've got another couple next week and really need to get on with my studies, but I decided that I needed a day off to chill down a bit.
So here is what I came up with using my brand spanking new stamp sets from PTI <3
In the month I had been waiting for the order to arrive, I've made countless number of sketches of cards I wanted to make. I had to tweak this design a little, but I'm very pleased with the way it turned out ;)
So here they are:
It's a little subtle on the photo, but I used PTI Edgers #1 die at the bottom of the cards. I'm in love with the die and YOF: Carnations set <333

A close up view (just for the kicks). It's not that obvious but I foam mounted the Mat Stack #4 die cut. Do you like how I offset it off the side a bit? I think I spent a good 15 minutes trying to figure out what the best position of it would be!
And this is the inside of the pink card. This one was made for someone specific. It's a secret who it is, but some of you may be able to make a pretty good guess at it ;)
Like I said, I was so pleased the way they turned out, I think I'll make a few more later and keep them in my stash and maybe even sell some ;)
Thanks for coming by!

Hehe. Thanks! Thanks to someone *hint hint* I have awesome ink colours ;) I actually think Photoshopping made them stick out more though lol
I love those cards and am going to have to "borrow" that layout of the flowers at the bottom and the die cut off to the side. Very pretty!

Your cards are beautiful, Euna! I love how you stamped beyond the colored mat and edged both pieces at the bottom.
Congrats on your new blog and I can't wait to see more!!
Congratulations on your new blog. How exciting. I also just started one, and you will probably find that it's just as addicting as stamping. Your cards are just lovely. I'm going to have to try to copy one with my only YOF--Mums.
beautiful cards! I really love them - can't wait to see more!
Welcome to blogging. My site still isn't developed, but I still blog. I found blogging takes time and it is picture taking which gets me behind.
Love your cards. The layout is fantastic. The colors are beautiful. Looking forward to seeing more of your creations.

Gorgeous Euna! I love the smaller mat of coloured cardstock and how the flowers go to the edge of the white. And the offset mat stack looks great!
