CAS-Friday 29 & Damask Designs

Hi everyone! Another quick post. I've been trying to do some more challenges now, but class has started and I'm just trying to sort out my time a bit. I did manage to make a card for this week's CAS-Friday challenge I've been meaning to make.

This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. I have to admit this is the first time I'm making a card based on a sketch. And you'll see one of my fav techniques of blending ink into the YOF: Carnations set. I had to stamp the outlines over twice because the blending smudged it. It was a little tricky to line them up given it's quite a detailed image.

The next card is just an extra. I was experimenting with my new Damask Designs set.

I'm off to the gym now. Thanks for coming around :)

Both cards are really beautiful. I really like how you cut a window in the first card.

Lovely cards. Love the background flowers in the first card. You have a perfect bow in the 2nd one. Nice.
